If you're new to homebuying – or if it's been a while – your mortgage loan officer (MLO) can guide you through information about rates, special programs and grants, and other financial and mortgage topics to get you on track toward homeownership.

When you're ready to prequalify or apply for a mortgage, your MLO will assist you as much as you prefer. They can help you work through your application and avoid any issues that could slow down the mortgage process.

As you enter the underwriting and closing process, it's your MLO's job to keep an eye on important milestones. Getting you to closing on time and into your new home is as much their goal as it is yours.
